Minipax is a font inspired by George Orwell's novel 1984. Minipax was vaguely influenced by the font skeleton of the author of the original version (Raphaël Root) in his own edition of the book (printed in '84!). But more importantly, Minipax was designed to fit the atmosphere of an Orwellian dystopia.
