ST Steppe Collection is a collection of 5 families of hyperstatic geometric grotesques. Here, all characters strive to be of equal width, breaking the usual proportions. The font doesn’t like being cramped; it feeds on the air around it and takes up a lot of space. In return, it reads well in small sizes and has a slightly mechanized yet friendly character.
The font features large lowercase characters, closed apertures, soft, almost round ovals, and spacious internal and interletter spaces. At the same time, the collection turned out to be quite versatile: it will suit projects involving navigation, construction business, the IT industry, or advertising campaigns.
Each family includes 9 styles with varying degrees of boldness, each containing 958 glyphs. The font features extended Cyrillic and Latin scripts, a large set of numerals, OpenType features with stylistic and localized substitutions, as well as arrows and icons.
